“What I LOVE about my Organic Custom Drums snare drum is the warmth of the overall sound, coupled with the sharp attack at the rim. The dual floating shell configuration is ideal for those who wish to get a variety of tones. For me, the 8-ply maple piece and the 6-ply mahogany segment has a depth of resonance that I’ve never experienced before. The first time I hit it, I actually took a second look to make sure it was only 6” deep! I even experimented with their wooden hoops, which gave it a great mellow sound. What I require, though, is a loud CRACK when I accent with a rim-shot and I get that with the metal hoop, all without losing that fantastic resonant tone. It’s by far, my favorite drum!”

By far the nicest drum I've ever owned!"

"This is the drum drummers dream about. Wood AND Metal, perfect throw- off, wood hoops... crazy versatile, fat and wide with a nice top end, and ridiculous snare response. I love this drum!"

| "I've got to tell you how much the whole band dug your drum! It was a bar gig with no stage, the band spread out and the sound all over and that drum really cut through and helped bring it all together. Loud, in charge and an unbelievable tone."

"This drum is awesome! It has outstanding resonating qualities along with great depth, ring, and sensitivity. I couldn't be more pleased. Once again thanks and keep up the great work. I'd put this drum up against any of the high end drums I've owned! It would beat them all!"

| "I had a really specific idea of the sound I was after, and described it to Rich. He heard me out, and offered his own suggestions of sizes and materials, some of which were different from what I thought I wanted. I took his advice, and I'm glad I did! My snare sound is exactly what I wanted it to be -- thick, sharp and LOUD, but also amazingly expressive -- it's like it's alive! On top of that, the drum is gorgeous. I get compliments all the time."
