Organic Custom Drums making its way around the Internet
Seems the press release has made the rounds, appearing on many different music-related websites. Gearwire added some humorous commentary, comparing it to a mutant turtle, but any publicity is good publicity, in my opinion. Google "Organic Custom Drums" and see what pops up.
Upcoming feature in Modern Drummer magazine
Rumor has it that Organic Custom Drums will be featured in the February 2009 edition of Modern Drummer magazine, in the "New & Notable" section. Stay tuned and make sure you pick up a copy, or better yet, get a subscription.
New Endorsers
Welcome to Chris Calabro and Ernest LaRouche.
Chris Calabro plays drums for the Boston-based band Convey. With a self-titled EP already released and plans for a second album underway Convey is making a name for themselves with their dynamic and intense writing style and strong live performances. Chris plays an 8 x 14, 8 lug, 8-ply Organic Custom maple snare drum with satin hardware.
Ernest LaRouche was a member of Mappari featuring Will Dailey, as well as legendary J. Geils Band frontman, Peter Wolf. He was an original member of Powerman 5000 and has also performed with Jefferey Osbourne, Susan Tedeschi, John Ford Coley, Terry Sylvester of the Hollies and has recorded with the Kat in the Hat band. In addition to his current private teaching practice at Northeastern University, Ernest maintains a private teaching practice and performs regularly in Boston-area bands including The Marsels and The Peasants. Ernest plays a 7x14, 10 lug, 10-ply Organic Custom maple snare drum with satin hardware.
Website
The website is coming along nicely. Special thanks to Mark Sheldon of iLive Web Solutions for making this happen. If you are looking for any web design services, be sure to contact Mark. In the coming weeks, we'll be adding a custom configurator, which will enable you to build your custom snare drum and choose from a variety of shells, hardware, and finishing options. As always, prices will be custom quoted. Also, look for a demo video in the February time frame.
Thanks again for your continued support and please help spread the word about Organic Custom Drums.
